Paprika Steen plays actress Thea Barfoed, making a spectacular return to the stage after a spell in rehab. By charm as much as manipulation, she manages to get access to the two young sons she voluntarily gave up for custody. Thea is both monstrous and yet highly sympathetic in facing her manifold challenges: regaining her sons' trust; renegotiating her relationship with her ex-husband; and delivering a series of challenging performances - all without the aid of alcohol, her drug of choice.
